Our Staff

Louise Burke

Louise is our bodyguard at the door. To get to anyone else, you need to go through Louise first. Luckily, she is super friendly and always happy to help. Louise's pro-active nature means she gets to wear many hats - receptionist, payroll administrator and debt collector.

Nomtha Mzobe

A real team player and a sponge when it comes to learning, Nomtha has no job that is too big or too small. She tackles every challenge you can throw at her with the energy and enthusiasm of a bouncing ball. When she’s not bookkeeping for all she’s worth, Nomtha loves a good novel.

Missy Fynn

With a few years under her belt at Guardian, Missy has grown from a mild-mannered bookkeeper into a superpower in the office. Her super-strengths include an open mind, intense focus, working under pressure, and a meticulous attention-to-detail. If she has any time left after that, Missy enjoys reading and hiking.

Cherol Sithole

As the newest member of the Guardian team, Cherol is still coming out of her shell. But it won’t take long! Always calm and collected, Cherol is a breath of fresh air in the often chaotic accounting industry. When she’s not chasing her career goals with a passion, Cherol likes to spend her “me” time reading voraciously.

Tara Wichmann

Although Tara is the “baby” of the office, she has a very mature work ethic. Her dedication, her ability to tackle a challenge, and her time management skills allow her to study towards her ACCA accounting degree while gaining valuable real-world experience at Guardian. To relax, Tara turns to retail therapy and cooking up a storm.

Mpume Gabela

Since joining Guardian in 2018, Mpume has thrived to become the manager of the bookkeeping department. Mpume’s critical thinking, passion for numbers, and bubbly personality make her the perfect mentor for the younger bookkeepers in her team, and a favourite with clients. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and podcasts.

Sonya Uys

Sonya is the tax queen. Her problem-solving skills and her stubborn persistence for answers makes her the perfect partner when tackling difficult SARS issues. It’s a rewarding yet exhausting job - one that sees Sonya relaxing at home on weekends and binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy to recharge.

Sam Chili

Sam loves reading, running, and working with numbers - a perfect set of skills for anyone working in the tax department. A fashionista with a smart sense of humour, Sam’s career ambitions see her reaching for the stars as much as she reaches for targets.
